More reliable Instagram Direct shortcuts

Direct shortcut matching is stronger: only an official one-to-one conversation clearly associated with the current creator is retained, reducing the chance of opening the wrong conversation.

• A matching creator shortcut can be completed from an Instagram page you already opened.
• Group conversations and data that cannot be clearly matched to the creator are not saved.
• No message content, read state, or conversation data is read or stored.

More dependable project refresh, fuller collaboration progress

Background project refresh now checks more reliably that Instagram profile and Reels pages actually loaded the needed data. Collaboration progress also adds Declined.

• Blank or unrelated pages no longer count as a completed refresh, reducing cases where data appears updated when it is not.
• A renamed account keeps its existing local data, favorites, and project relationships; a mismatched account cannot overwrite existing content.
• The project-card report entry is a clearer icon, and collaboration progress can be set to Declined.

Open an Instagram Direct conversation from a project card

Save an optional Direct shortcut for an Instagram creator, then open the official conversation directly from the Projects page without searching for the account again.

• Add, edit, or clear the matching Direct link or conversation ID manually.
• Only official Instagram Direct conversation routes are accepted, preventing external links from being saved by mistake.
• No message content is read or saved; the shortcut only opens the matching conversation.

See each creator’s project status more clearly

Creator cards on the Projects page can now show the local information most useful to your workflow, without opening every full report.

• Cards show followers, last post, saved posts, and last analysis by default; choose any one to four items to display.
• Select and drag to reorder card information in Settings, then every project card applies the same reading order immediately.

Export project data and plan background refreshes

Project accounts can now carry a collaboration status, helping teams follow work from evaluation and outreach through delivery and completion in one place.

• Choose Review, To contact, Contacted, Negotiating, Confirmed, Active, Completed, or Paused, with the latest update time retained.
• Filter and sort a selected project by progress to find accounts that need the next action.
• Favorites show the matching progress label when a project is selected, and official-profile URL recognition in bulk import is more precise.

Build Favorites and project lists quickly with CSV

Favorites and Projects now support bulk import, so a CSV can add Instagram, TikTok, or Threads creators in one step before their data is updated individually.

• Use a username or official profile URL. Before import, a preview identifies valid, existing, duplicate, and invalid rows.
• Choose whether to add each imported account to Favorites, an existing project, or both.
• New accounts are clearly marked as awaiting an update. Import never opens platform pages automatically or overwrites saved analysis data.

Keep more TikTok and Threads first-screen data

Improves cases where a profile has just opened and some post data is not visible yet. Information the platform has already provided is saved more reliably, while unavailable fields remain honestly marked N/A.

• TikTok videos and photo posts can now both be recognized and saved from profile data, with a short follow-up pass when information appears slightly later.
• Threads profiles can retain clearly displayed likes, replies, reposts, quotes, shares, and views, making reports and top-content lists more complete.
• Updates protect previously saved valid numbers so temporarily incomplete page information does not overwrite earlier analysis results.

Read project update status from existing local data

Adds optional Project Pulse, which uses only existing snapshots, account libraries, and post caches to summarize follower change, inactivity, stale data, and insufficient-data reasons. It is off by default and does not change schemas, formulas, permissions, or backup format.

• Projects gain summaries, account-card tags, and report entry points. Insufficient data is explicitly categorized as no snapshot, no comparison snapshot, mismatched range, or missing publication dates.
• Single-account and oldest-five bounded refreshes reuse the existing minimized-window passive collector. Accounts run serially with at least 60 seconds between them and stop on login, verification, throttling, or temporary errors.
• Refresh does not create snapshots automatically; stale snapshots prompt a manual update. Three-platform cache and observation snapshots also preserve valid values so null or lower-quality DOM fields cannot overwrite them.

Clearer account and multi-project management

Strengthens the existing Projects UI and member management so Favorites, Projects, and all three panels present multiple classifications and full names more clearly, with account membership managed directly from a card.

• Favorites and panels use up to six fixed project slots: one to three projects fill two columns automatically, four to six retain two columns, and more than six show the first five plus +N. Full names are available line by line.
• Project cards show existing projects and creator notes, notes join search, and an in-card menu can add or remove any project. Removal receives a four-locale confirmation prompt.
• Large project-management lists have a bounded scroll area; Favorites folder, star, and trash controls remain 32px with visually centered icons, and the Projects platform overview is labeled “All accounts.”

Align project actions, Favorites layout, and report time details

This release focuses on consistent three-platform UI and already-loaded social-link cleanup, keeping Favorites and Projects readable with long names, exact follower counts, and four locales. It adds no platform requests or permissions.

• Aligns the project-folder icon and sizing across Instagram, TikTok, and Threads panels. Favorites puts the platform icon beside its name, standardizes folder/star/trash actions to 32px, and shows up to six project tags.
• Improves layout for long project names, exact follower counts, and the four-locale Favorites toolbar so controls and text do not overflow cards.
• TikTok passively saves Instagram links from existing hydration and visible DOM; all social links remove query/hash. Reports across all platforms merge UTC+8 into the created timestamp and remove the separate time-zone field.

Japanese UI with consistent three-platform localization

Adds Japanese and consolidates shared locale logic into one core; both the Chrome Manifest and in-extension language switch now offer Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, and Japanese.

• Shares language detection, persisted-preference validation, locale tags, interpolation, common labels, and report-scope formatting. Japanese covers panels, Favorites, Projects, Settings, reports, history, comparison, and export.
• TikTok Shares/Saves and Threads Replies/Reposts/Quotes/Reshares XLSX headers now use the locale dictionary too, preventing untranslated export columns.
• Does not change persisted schemas, formulas, passive capture, permissions, or dependencies; existing language preferences and data remain compatible.

Complete project-page, Favorites, and three-platform panel integration

Building on v0.7.0 project classification, this release fixes project cards, Favorite-account classification, comparison loading, and three-platform panel workflows so local project relationships are more stable and easier to manage.

• Fixes project-card overlap caused by Favorites styles, uses local Instagram, TikTok, and Threads avatars with HTTPS fallback, and replaces numbered prompts with an in-card project picker in Favorites.
• Choosing a project in comparison now loads only that platform’s available members while retaining the 10-account cap. TikTok and Threads panels align with Instagram analysis/recommendation tabs and action rows, clearly identifying unavailable recommendations.
• Centralizes project create, switch, and open events for all panels; Favorites and Projects search now support Chinese IME composition, with clearer project-tag placement, delete, back-to-Favorites, and platform-icon affordances.

Organize and compare accounts by project

A dedicated Projects page lets the same Instagram, TikTok, or Threads account belong to multiple clients, campaigns, or pitches. Classification is stored only as a local relationship and does not change account data, metric formulas, or passive capture.

• Create, edit, recolor, annotate, and delete projects; filter by platform, favorite, keyword, unclassified status, and sort order. Members whose local account data is missing are clearly marked and can be removed from that project only.
• All three panels and Favorites show project tags with quick add/remove and a Projects entry point. Each platform comparison page can load same-platform project members while preserving the existing 10-account limit.
• Account-key upgrades, renames, and full deletion synchronize project memberships. Backup format v4 includes projects while older backups remain compatible; Settings storage statistics add project, member-relation, and size counts.

One proven shared core for three platforms

This release focuses on code efficiency and maintainability: proven platform-neutral pure logic now has one implementation instead of parallel copies. It adds no platform requests and does not change passive capture, local databases, or metric formulas.

• Instagram, TikTok, and Threads now share KPI calculation, view selection, medians, daily trends, comparison calculations, date helpers, report scopes, and panel geometry while keeping each platform’s field semantics intact.
• History and comparison pages use one controller with thin platform adapters, removing duplicate rendering and event logic so a common fix can cover all three platforms.
• Visible version text now comes from the built manifest, preventing drift across panels, reports, favorites, and standalone pages. Parsers, post merges, snapshots, storage, exports, and report content remain platform-specific.

More reliable account data, avatars, and per-post view recovery

Continues improving recognition and presentation of data pages already load across all three platforms. Missing fields remain N/A; the extension never replays or constructs platform APIs.

• After a user normally opens Instagram’s link dialog, the extension passively rescans external social links to retain YouTube links that only then enter the DOM, while rejecting Instagram internal pages. Favorites can repair missing avatars, names, followers, and social links from latest analysis metadata.
• Fixes Threads follower misreads by accepting counters only from the username-matched user object, preventing unrelated page numbers from overwriting the account. Exact Threads and TikTok follower counts now outrank DOM abbreviations and supply the full report and ER value.
• Strengthens local avatar and social-link synchronization: a successfully stored Blob immediately updates the account library and analysis metadata, while cross-origin images fall back to HTTPS. Threads can retain already-visible Instagram/Facebook links and background refresh updates them together.
• TikTok shares/saves and Threads replies/reposts/quotes/reshares gain localized labels and medians. Threads top content and reports show available per-post views; a user can manually open up to 12 normal post pages missing views in sequence so the existing passive collector can merge hydration—without API replay.

Threads passive analytics, account links, and reliable local images

Threads joins as a third, independent local passive-analytics platform, with stronger recovery of already-loaded views, social links, and avatars. Unknown values remain N/A; the extension never infers them or makes platform API calls.

• It only organizes fetch/XHR responses, hydration, and visible DOM already loaded by Threads, with local cache, panel, detailed reports, history snapshots, same-platform comparison, favorites, notes, background refresh, and backup/restore. Threads uses separate IndexedDB so three-platform data cannot mix.
• Posts retain provided likes, replies, reposts, quotes, reshares, text, and location. The visible Recent views value supplements the panel total only when no per-post views exist; average views and ERR remain N/A so an account-level value is not treated as a post sample.
• Post-detail hydration impression_count can be retained as a per-post view. Existing Instagram and Facebook profile links on Threads are retained only after HTTPS, host, and account-path validation, then open from the panel, report, and favorites page.
• Avatars prefer a successfully saved local Blob. If cross-origin rules prevent local conversion, the HTTPS fallback uses no-referrer. A race where Instagram kept an older URL after a new Blob saved is fixed, and background refresh now syncs the latest avatar and profile fields.

Passively identify and retain account social links

Already-loaded Instagram profile data can now supplement YouTube, Facebook, Threads, and TikTok links. The data remains local to the browser and adds no platform requests, permissions, or metric inputs.

• Passively processes bio_links, Facebook Page IDs, and existing header/link-dialog anchors. Only matching HTTPS platform domains are accepted; Instagram redirect links are safely unwrapped and validated first.
• Links merge across captures into the existing profile and account library, then appear beside the account in the Instagram panel, detailed report, and favorites page. Older cache and backups remain compatible.
• Also reads already-loaded React props from the current profile’s Link button, narrowly allowing the link payload to fill the routed username even when that local object does not repeat a username or ID.

Shared analytics core, less cross-platform maintenance

Instagram and TikTok now reuse proven pure analytics logic, reducing duplicate code and missed cross-platform fixes. It adds no platform requests and does not change passive capture, local-only storage, or metric formulas.

• KPI calculation, view selection, medians, daily engagement trends, multi-account comparison, date helpers, and panel geometry now use shared modules so a common fix applies consistently to both platforms.
• Parsers, post merging, report scopes, snapshots, IndexedDB, exports, and pages remain platform-specific so Instagram and TikTok data semantics do not mix.
• Data-flow, change-impact, and technical-debt records now mark the shared core and intentionally separate modules, reducing future maintenance and regression cost.

More reliable local media, account data, and backups

Brings together local image storage, precise account data, cache cleanup, and safer backup restore for more dependable long-term local data.

• Already-loaded avatars and thumbnails are saved locally when possible, with the platform URL kept as a fallback.

Wider controls and manual snapshots

Makes day-to-day analysis and snapshot saving more direct while keeping passive capture and local-only storage boundaries.

• Instagram and TikTok panels widen from 372px to 416px. Instagram Compare and Favorite are independent actions beside the Analytics/Similar creators tabs, without adding panel height.
• A persistent 💾 manual snapshot action sits between Stop and Report. It can save any non-empty local cache; background refresh still creates no snapshot.
• Always snapshot saving no longer skips a later completed analysis only because aggregate values match. Repeated writes in the same analysis session remain blocked.

Background refresh no longer replaces a complete report

Passive capture fix for similar Instagram accounts

Instagram may return similar-account JSON as text/javascript. This release updates the existing response detection and, when no local cache exists, opens Instagram’s normal similar-accounts route so the platform loads the data itself.

• Only stores the account, name, avatar, verification, and relationship status that Instagram actually returns.
• Does not infer similarity scores, follower counts, ER, or views; missing platform data remains empty.
• Does not create or replay GraphQL requests.

Similar creator lists for Instagram

The Instagram panel gains an Analytics / Suggested creators switch. Recommendation data is stored separately on-device and never enters post analytics, snapshots, comparison, or export.

Favorites, metrics, and interface details

Adds panel shortcuts for favorites, Instagram and TikTok filters, two-decimal rounding for ER/ERR under 1%, and clearer cursor behavior across Favorites and Settings.

“Social Analytics | Passive Analytics” unifies the brand and entry points. The two platforms still use separate parsers, databases, reports, history, and comparison data so their content fields and metrics stay distinct.

A clearer Instagram icon and first-screen Reel fallbacks

Updates the Instagram-specific toolbar icon and moves the existing passive observer to the MAIN world at document_start, reducing the chance that the newest first-screen Reels miss their date before the page state is complete.

• Does not create or replay Instagram requests.
• Only supplements fields from responses, page state, and visible content Instagram has already loaded.

Do not end analysis early for Reels missing a date

Reels without a date in older cache are no longer treated as fully collected. Analysis keeps waiting for complete platform-loaded data and merges a delayed taken_at by shortcode.

Snapshots, historical trends, and multi-account comparison

Completed analyses can be saved as local snapshots and viewed as trends. The account library and comparison page use existing cache or snapshots to compare accounts on the same platform, with CSV, JSON, Excel, and PDF export.

• Snapshots and comparisons reuse the same metrics, medians, and posting-frequency calculations.
• Data stays in the browser; no backend was added.

Strengthen passive handling of first-screen Instagram Reels

Builds on the existing Instagram post and Reel analysis by improving first-screen state and publication-date timing. It supplements available fields from page state already loaded and corrects posting-frequency calculation for post-count ranges.

Fields Instagram does not provide remain N/A; they are never filled by inference.

Local passive observation and the Instagram analysis foundation

Builds a Manifest V3 in-page tool that passively observes fetch/XHR responses Instagram already made, parses only required post fields, keeps a local IndexedDB cache, and offers start, stop, range selection, top posts, and CSV/JSON export.

Early patches cover Reel/video views, retaining data while switching between posts and Reels, DOM fallbacks, and stopping scroll cleanly. It has no backend, stores no credentials, and never initiates Instagram private API calls.
